Treatment of flooring surface
- Newly completed industrial flooring must be maintained after a certain period of time before construction, about 28 days.
- Clear the cement floating slurry, old paint and adhering garbage on the surface.
- Thoroughly remove the oil stain on the surface, and treat it with Ke-grease King cleaning agent.
- Remove the water accumulation and make the damp place thoroughly dry.
- The cleaning of the surface needs to be completed with dust-free sweeper and large vacuum cleaner.
- The flat surface allows a void of 2~5mm, water content below 6%, PH value 6~80.
- The brushing of the flooring surface needs to be completed with a dust-free sanding machine and thoroughly cleaned with a vacuum cleaner.
- The holes and obvious depressions on the flooring surface should be filled with putty and scraped, and after drying, sanded and vacuumed.
Apply sealing coating

- Use 100~200 purpose quartz sand and epoxy scraping material as the 1st course of putty, to be fully mixed evenly and scraped flat, this course is mainly used to enhance the ground’s abrasion and pressure resistance performance.
- Sand the 1st course of putty with sand bag type dust-free rolling sanding machine and vacuum clean.
- Use 200-270 purpose quartz sand and epoxy scraping material as the first course of putty, mix well and scrape flat, this course is mainly used to enhance the ground wear resistance and flatness.
- Use sand bag type dust-free rolling sanding machine to polish the 2nd course of putty, and vacuum clean.
- After the two putties are dry, if there are any pockmarks or cracks, they should be repaired first, and then sanded with a flat sanding machine to make it smooth and cleaned by vacuuming.
- The number of quartz sand shall be determined by the site engineer according to the specific conditions of the ground.
Finish the middle layer of flooring
- After grinding and cleaning the putty surface (20℃, 24 hours), use epoxy flooring coating to decorate the middle layer, the decoration method can be brushing, scraping, high pressure airless spraying, large area construction with high pressure airless spraying is the best, spraying pressure is 20~25Mpa.
- This layer can make the ground more flat, more convenient to find out the defects still exist on the ground, so that the next layer construction leveling.

Finish flooring surface layer
- After the middle layer is dry, the epoxy flooring layer should be painted, and the painting method should be batch scraping and high pressure airless spraying, but high pressure airless spraying is appropriate.
- The middle layer should be sanded and vacuumed by sand bag type dust-free rolling sanding machine before painting.
- If the installation and commissioning of the equipment is carried out after the middle layer is dry, resulting in new defects on the ground, the surface layer should be sprayed after the batch scraping material is leveled, sanded, vacuumed and cleaned.
Construction precautions
- The ambient temperature of the construction site should be higher than 5℃ and the relative humidity should be less than 85% before construction.
- The builder should make the actual records of construction site, time, temperature, relative humidity, flooring surface treatment, materials, etc. for checking.
- After the construction of the coating, the relevant equipment and tools should be cleaned immediately.
Safety technical requirements
- The construction site should be surrounded by a good cautionary tape and hang a good warning sign.
- the construction site around 10 meters of open fire work is strictly prohibited, smoking is strictly prohibited.
- The use of high-pressure airless spraying pump should be properly grounded.
- The paint and thinner should be placed in a well-ventilated warehouse.
- Pay attention to good personal protection when working.
- The use of power tools shall be the responsibility of a person, and the power shall be cut off before leaving the field.
Use and maintenance
- When the construction of the coating is completed, cut in a hurry to use during the maintenance period, and must strengthen the ventilation equipment and fire prevention measures.
- For the use of flooring, production personnel are not allowed to wear leather shoes with iron nails to walk on it.
- All working apparatus must have a fixed special frame, and metal parts with sharp corners and other objects are strictly forbidden to collide with the ground, causing damage to the ground coating.
- the workshop installation of equipment and other major objects to use lifting machinery, in contact with the ground support points should be thick rubber and other software materials pad properly, forbidden to use iron pipe and other metal in the ground to connect drag equipment.
- When welding and other high-temperature operations are carried out in the workshop, asbestos cloth and other refractory materials should be used in the place where the welding sparks splash to prevent the paint from burning.
- Once there is damage to the flooring, use the paint to repair it in time so that the oil and dirt will not penetrate into the cement through the damaged place and cause the paint to fall off in a large area.
- Do not use strong chemical solvents (xylene, banana water, etc.) when cleaning the floor in a large area in the workshop. Generally, use detergent, soap solution, water, etc., with cleaning machine. In the absence of a cleaning machine, available sawdust withdrawn on and then cleaned.
- Winter construction, the ambient temperature is lower than 5℃,, winter type epoxy industrial floor coating can be used.
